Is it just me or do the days seem to be flying by at warp speed?
In an effort to keep myself from completely freaking out, I’m trying to stay in the moment. Focus on the task at hand instead of what I need to do next or an hour from now.
Damn man, it is tough AF.
Anyway, I thought it might be beneficial to other brides and readers to share my bridal bootcamp plan. I love to hear from you and hope that we can get healthier together!
Misery loves company, right?
Just kidding! This is more of a “lifestyle change”. I’m focusing on eating clean and plant based. You know the drill.
I’m just a girl standing in front of her blogging community hoping to shed some lbs together while becoming her healthiest self.
So who’s with me? (And by me, I mean the non doctor me. Really, you should check with your doctor before starting any diet or fitness regimen. Do what is best for you!)
So, here we go!
Exercise Goals:
Daily Sunrise (or whenever I wake up) yoga
I love Yoga with Adrienne! She has an amazing YouTube channel full of videos. Go check her out.
Cardio Five 5x/wk
I will mostly be using the elliptical since it is in my basement and its really cold outside.
Weights 3x/wk
Try the tone it up girls, blogilates, and Pinterest for ideas.
Everyday active mindset.
Take the stairs, do squats while brushing my teeth, park away from the building, etc.
Diet Goals:
Eat the rainbow (and I don’t mean Skittles)
Fill up on fruits and veggies first. I like to try and eat the rainbow of fruits and veggies everyday. This way, I am getting tons of phytonutrients and antioxidants from each group.
Drink all the water
We all know water is the key to shedding lbs, great skin, de-bloating, etc.
Incorporate Anti-inflammatory foods and spices
Spice up veggies with turmeric, ginger, cayenne, rosemary, cloves, cinnamon, sage, and black pepper. Just not all at the same time. Yuck.
Pass on the junk
Avoid junk foods and empty calories. Make your calories count!
What are some of your favorite diet and exercise tips?
