Happy Friday everyone! Today’s post is a little different. I thought it would be fun to share a few of the things that I have been currently craving/loving.
Cellucor Whipped Vanilla Protein Powder + Strong Coffee
I am not a huge fan of weekday breakfasts. I am more of a weekend brunch kind of girl. I like to mosey around with a couple of cups of coffee before I eat breakfast. During the week, that isn’t really possible because I also really value my sleep. So, I decided to blend vanilla protein powder in with my coffee to create a vanilla iced coffee frappacchino of sorts. YUM!
I am loving my mandoline lately. It slices veggies so pretty and perfectly uniform. I used it to slice radishes, jalapenos, and red onions for some quick pickles and they turned out sooo good. I could eat the whole jar, especially on top of some fish tacos with extra guac.
I bought some Freekeh on a whim a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with it. Freekeh is a young green wheat that has been toasted. It cooks in about 25 minutes and holds up really well in a grain salad.
Express Double Peplum (Minus The) Leather Jacket
I have this jacket in a grey snake print and I find myself reaching for it every time I leave the house. The peplum cuts in at the waist/lower back creating a lovely shape and the stretchy fabric mixed in makes it really comfy. I get compliments on it all the time. One of my coworkers declared that it was the coolest jacket ever.
Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien
Rikugien is a rose pink color that is pretty close to my natural lip color. It was my birthday gift from Sephora back in December. It gives me an extra oomph while still looking natural. Perfect to pair with a smoky eye or for day to day.
OPI The Berry Thought of You
I borrowed this one from my Mom’s collection. The berry thought of you is a lovely bright color for spring. I really like the pop of color with my grey leather jacket.
Quinoa Chicken Soup for the Soul
When it is chilly and rainy outside I want comforting warming soup. (And a side of freshly baked bread with butter..mmm) Quinoa Chicken soup is nourishing and delicious.
